1. Pricing & Quotations

All prices shown on our website or provided via our online calculator are estimated quotes based on the entered distance, vehicle type, and basic assumptions for loading/unloading conditions.

Quoted prices include the vehicle and driver only, unless otherwise specified.
All distances are calculated via standard navigation tools (Google Maps or equivalent).
Prices may vary if the actual mileage, waiting time, access, or service time differs from the details provided at booking.
Fuel, insurance, and road mileage are included in the standard quote. Any tolls, parking, ULEZ, or congestion charges are added separately if applicable.

2. Payment

All bookings must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment confirms the reservation of a vehicle and driver for the requested date and time.

We accept bank transfer or online payment links issued after booking confirmation.
Invoices are available upon request.

3. Driver Assistance

Our drivers are responsible for transport and safe driving. Assistance with loading or unloading is optional and charged separately at £20 per hour.

Driver’s assistance must be requested at the time of booking.
The driver may refuse to lift excessively heavy or unsafe items.
If additional helpers (porters) are required, they can be arranged at £18/hour per person, with a minimum of one hour.

4. Cancellations & Delays

Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations within 24 hours of collection are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
No refund applies once the vehicle has been dispatched to the pickup address.
Delays caused by incorrect information, access restrictions, or waiting time beyond 20 minutes may be charged at £15 per additional 30 minutes.

5. Goods & Liability

We transport goods up to a maximum gross weight of 3.5 tonnes per vehicle.
Our vehicles are fully insured for goods in transit (up to standard industry cover).
We are not liable for loss or damage arising from incorrect packing, hidden defects, or items not properly secured by the customer.

6. Access & Loading Conditions

The customer must ensure clear access for loading/unloading at both addresses.
Additional charges may apply if manual carrying exceeds 25 meters from the vehicle or involves stairs without a lift.

7. Additional Charges

Tolls, parking fees, ULEZ, and congestion charges are charged at cost if applicable.
Waiting time after the first 20 minutes is billed at £15 per 30 minutes.
Extra mileage beyond the quoted distance is billed at the same per-mile rate used in the initial quote.

8. Insurance & Safety

All vans are insured for hire and reward, including goods in transit and public liability.
Fragile or high-value items must be declared in advance.
We reserve the right to refuse transport of prohibited or illegal goods.

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control, such as severe weather, traffic incidents, breakdowns, or unforeseen restrictions.

10. Governing Law

All services provided by IVAN & RYAN TRANSPORT LTD are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
